Job summary

Technology Service Corporation seeks an Air Vehicle Operator - Instructor (AVO-I) at the Sierra Vista FTU site in Arizona. The full-time role targets group 4+ UAS experience, with 10–30% travel for CONUS/OCONUS requirements. You will lead flight training and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, FAA PPL with instrument rating, and U.S. citizenship with active DoD/clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of aircraft systems and troubleshooting.
• FAA/ICAO flight operational procedures and safety standards.
• Experience with LEA Family of Systems preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with DoD clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Pilot and supervise UAS sorties as PIC.
• Maintain safe operation of unmanned aircraft systems.
• Develop training programs, lesson plans and schedules.
• Train personnel in procedures, policies and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with Flight & Ground Safety Procedures (FOPS/GOPS).
• Support audits and performance reviews.
