Job summary

Shield AI is seeking an experienced Staff Logistics Manager, Support Equipment to lead the logistics planning, supply support, sustainment analysis, and lifecycle support for a next‑gen autonomous aircraft system. You will guide maintenance concepts, provisioning inputs, spares planning, and sustainment documentation across design to field support.

The role requires hands-on experience with Maintenance Task Analysis, Logistics Control Numbers, reliability and maintainability artifacts, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in logistics, engineering, supply chain, aviation maintenance, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience supporting UAS or fighter aircraft logistics and sustainment.
• Experience with Maintenance Task Analysis and development of maintenance planning data.
• Expertise of Logistics Control Number structures for provisioning and planning.
• Experience with Reliability and Maintainability principles and LORA development.
• Hands-on supply support experience including spares planning and inventory management.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, program management, supply chain, and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics and sustainment planning across design, production, deployment, and field support phases.
• Develop and maintain integrated logistics support products and provisioning inputs.
• Perform Maintenance Task Analysis to define maintenance requirements and labor hours.
• Develop and maintain Logistics Control Number structures for provisioning and documentation.
• Lead support equipment design and implementation across IPTs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, depots, repair vendors, and internal teams for parts availability.
• Support proposal development, basis of estimate inputs, and logistics cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with defense standards, export controls, and company processes.
