Job summary

Shield AI is seeking an experienced Staff Logistics Manager, Support Equipment to lead logistics planning and sustainment for a next‑gen autonomous aircraft program. The role covers design, development, fielding, and lifecycle support across multiple phases with emphasis on maintenance concepts and provisioning.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in UAS logistics, experience with MTAs, LORA, and related data, and strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering, supply chain, aviation maintenance, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience supporting UAS or fighter aircraft logistics and sustainment.
• Experience with maintenance planning data and maintenance task analyses.
• Knowledge of logistics data structures and provisioning processes.
• Experience with reliability, maintainability, and field performance analyses.
• Hands-on supply support, including spares planning and inventory management.
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOMs, and maintenance data.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics and sustainment planning for a UAS program across design, production, deployment, and field support.
• Develop and maintain integrated logistics support products including maintenance concepts and spare planning.
• Perform and manage Maintenance Task Analysis to define maintenance requirements and resources.
• Develop and maintain Logistics Control Number structures for provisioning and documentation.
• Lead support equipment design and implementation across IPTs.
• Lead supply support activities including spares analysis and obsolescence management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, depots, and internal teams to ensure parts availability.
• Support proposal development, staffing plans, and logistics cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with defense standards, export controls, and company processes.
