Job summary

AEVEX Aerospace seeks an Aircraft Mechanic/Crew Chief to perform ground and flight operations, maintenance, and records management on unmanned aircraft systems in a training and flight test setting. You will support high-performance flight line activities with safety and efficiency as priorities, using established military/commercial aviation practices.

The role requires expertise with aircraft checklists, maintenance documentation, and collaboration within a deployed team to meet daily

Qualifications

• Experience with Aircraft Systems and subsystems, including theory of operation.
• Familiarity with Aircraft Technical Manuals (General Systems, Fault Isolation, etc.).
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground and flight line maintenance on unmanned aircraft systems in training/test environments.
• Ensure airworthiness through daily servicing and inspections.
• Complete scheduled/unscheduled maintenance actions and document on digital/paper logs.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using multimeter and test equipment.
• Inspect structures and laminates for defects and approve repairs.
