Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support the ongoing development of a Group 5 autonomous aircraft and related air vehicle software systems. You will shape requirements, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to architecture and interfaces for safety and performance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or similar engineering or technical field.
• 7+ years Engineering Experience across the life cycle for a UAS with specific focus on aircraft systems
• Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, ARP-4761, ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD-881
• Experience developing subsystem software requirements and interfaces; including mission systems
• Experience with contingency management software architecture and requirements
• Experience on mature Aircraft development programs including operational testing and airworthiness certification
• Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar
• Outstanding communication skills to include presentation of developed artifacts
• Must hold an active U.S. Secret security clearance
• Preferred: Cameo MagicDraw or similar SE software
• Preferred: Digital Engineering workflows and Integrated Modeling Environments (Teamwork Cloud)
• Demonstrated ownership and autonomy across the end-to-end SE lifecycle
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Shape customer needs into air vehicle and subsystem software requirements with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop System Engineering artifacts, including system model, to trace from inputs through design in a digital thread.
• Communicate and manage program risks with Chief Engineer and Program Management
