Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Costa Mesa, California, with a strong background in air vehicle software systems. The engineer will shape requirements and develop system engineering artifacts to support the design and airworthiness certification of group 5 autonomous aircraft.

Candidates should have a B.S. in a relevant field and over 5 years of engineering experience. The role requires familiarity with various engineering standards and excellent communication skills to present developed artifacts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Engineering Experience across the life cycle for a UAS with specific focus on aircraft systems.
• Experience with MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, ARP-4761, ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO-254.
• Must hold an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Shape customer needs into air vehicle software requirements.
• Develop System Engineering artifacts to trace stakeholder inputs through design.
• Communicate and manage program risks with stakeholders.
