Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering for a Group 5 autonomous aircraft program. You will shape requirements across multidisciplinary teams and develop MBSE artifacts to trace stakeholder inputs through design in a digital thread.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of systems engineering experience on UAS, familiarity with DoD standards, SysML/DoDAF, and must hold an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or related engineering field.
• 2+ years Systems Engineering across the life cycle for a UAS with focus on aircraft systems.
• Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, ARP-4761, ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD-881.
• Experience developing subsystem and component requirements and interfaces.
• Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar.
• Outstanding communication skills to present artifacts.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Shape customer needs into air vehicle and subsystem requirements in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop System Engineering artifacts, including system model, to trace from stakeholder inputs through design in a digital thread.
• Lead program team through System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, and Critical Design Review.
• Communicate and manage program risks with Chief Engineer and Program Management.
