Job summary

GHY is seeking an experienced Trade Consultant to guide clients through US customs regulations and complex trade matters. You will report to the Director of US Trade Services and act as a subject matter expert, mentoring colleagues and delivering strategic guidance on regulatory issues.

The role requires deep knowledge of tariff classification, 19 CFR, value, origin determinations, and ACE brokerage software. It is remote with travel to Pembina, ND for training and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the customs industry.
• CCS designation or equivalent certification is required.
• Broker license (US) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, and FTAs.
• Support compliance activities with verifications and post-entry corrections.
• Coordinate with CBP and Partner Government Agencies.
