RBC Capital Markets LLC in Jersey City is seeking a senior Credit Risk Review professional to join the CRR team. The role focuses on independent evaluations of credit risk management practices across Wholesale and Wealth Management portfolios in the United States.

You will lead target reviews, continuous monitoring, and risk assessments, collaborating with first, second lines of defense, regulators, and auditors to strengthen internal controls and governance.

Formación

• 7+ years of wholesale credit experience in underwriting, adjudication, credit risk review, audit, consulting, or regulatory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, lending products, and regulatory guidance.
• Strong negotiation, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle a diverse workload, accept accountability, assume leadership and demonstrate initiative.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and participate in CRR reviews of Wholesale and Wealth Management portfolios, evaluating risk rating accuracy, underwriting and portfolio management practices, emerging risks, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to junior team members.
• Execute the risk-based annual plan with CRR leadership and key stakeholders to ensure adequate, risk-based coverage of the loan portfolio.
• Review borrower and portfolio-level credit risk, identify remediation actions, and communicate findings clearly; conduct risk assessments of assigned industries/portfolios.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to risk frameworks, governance, and internal processes.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper identification, documentation and resolution of all risks impacting the loan portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data and analytics to enhance CRR processes.
• Collaborate with credit risk stakeholders across all three lines of defense.
