Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than six years of applicable experience.
• Credit analysis skills to evaluate borrower financial condition, repayment capacity, risk rating, key credit drivers, loan structure, collateral and exceptions.
• Ability to evaluate underwriting and/or portfolio management processes.
• Draws accurate conclusions efficiently and can make decisions without full information.
• Investigate, identify, and articulate root causes of issues.
• Adept communicator with clear articulation and presentation skills.
• Clear and concise writing style.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter, self-directed and proactive.
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, financial services and regulatory trends.
• Understanding of business line operations, products/services, risks/controls.
• Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies knowledge.
• Relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and word processing.
• Applicable professional certifications
