Job summary

Alexander Associates are representing an established engineering consultancy that’s looking to add an experienced Roadway Design Engineer PE to their Transportation team in Texas. The role will be heavily involved in the design and delivery of TxDOT roadway and multiple transportation projects across Texas.

Responsibilities include roadway geometry, alignments, grading, drainage, plan production, PS&E development, and ensuring TxDOT standards while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and

Qualifications

5-10+ years in roadway/transportation engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience with TxDOT transportation projects.
Proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

Support the design and delivery of TxDOT roadway and transportation projects.
Develop roadway geometry, alignments, and corridor designs.
Prepare and review plans, calculations, and technical reports.
Develop quantities, cost estimates, and supporting documentation.
Support PS&E development through project delivery and coordination with disciplines.
