Job summary

TPAPT is seeking experienced ACT tutors to provide remote, 1:1 ACT test prep for high school students in grades 9-12. This Senior Tutor role is part-time and remote, open to tutors across US time zones.

You will design customized lesson plans, monitor progress, and share feedback with students and parents. A Bachelor's degree and proven ACT/SAT success are required; compensation ranges from $40–$60 per hour and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Proven success with high scores on ACT or SAT.
• 5-20 hours per week of availability.
• Minimum 3 years of experience tutoring the full ACT test.
• Strong understanding of ACT format and strategies.
• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

TPAPT is a national nonprofit consortium of 15,000 local tutors and independent tutoring firms. One of our awesome chapters is seeking an experienced test prep specialists to provide remote 1:1 tutoring for the ACT admissions test.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction and test preparation for ACT students.
• Develop customized lesson plans and practice tests tailored to each student’s needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Utilize effective teaching methods to build students' confidence and skills in test-taking strategies.

Requirements

• Proven success with high scores on either/both SAT or/and ACT.
• 5-20 hours per week of availability
• A minimum of 3 years of experience tutoring or teaching the full ACT test in a paid capacity.

• Earned Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized institution.
