Job summary

The Recreational Group seeks a Lead Fabricator at Controlled Products - Aquafab in Dalton, GA to oversee daily turf fabrication, enforce safety and quality standards, and mentor junior fabricators.

You will coordinate with design teams, monitor material inventories, and drive continuous production improvements to uphold the company's reputation in aquatic manufacturing. A high school diploma and hands-on fabrication experience are required, with forklift competency preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and deadlines.
• Proven experience in fabrication or manufacturing, ideally in turf/fabrication environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of fabrication tools and equipment used in metal/plastic fabrication.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fabrication operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Train and mentor junior fabricators on best practices and techniques.
• Collaborate with art and design teams on project needs and timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies to avoid production delays.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
