Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Turbomachinery Engineer to lead advanced analyses of steam and gas turbine components.

You will conduct thermo-mechanical assessments, develop Digital Twin models, and guide reverse engineering efforts while collaborating with project teams and clients. With 10+ years in turbomachinery and strong FEA/CAD skills, you will influence life assessment and fitness-for-service evaluations, travel occasionally for field support, and mentor junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of turbomachinery engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in FEA tools (ANSYS Mechanical).
• Strong experience with CAD modeling (SolidWorks).
• PE license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform thermo-mechanical and structural analyses of turbomachinery components using FEA.
• Develop CAD models with SolidWorks.
• Conduct steady-state and transient thermal analyses (startup, shutdown, cyclic duty).
• Evaluate damage mechanisms including fatigue, creep, fracture mechanics, and SCC.
• Perform fitness-for-service and remaining life assessments to support operation and life extension.
• Apply ASME, API, OEM, and related industry codes and standards.
• Support reverse engineering activities and develop Digital Twin models.
• Interpret inspection and NDE data and contribute to failure investigations.
• Provide technical input for reports and client presentations.
