Job summary

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Leader/Manager for Steam Turbine Generator to guide high-impact client work and lead a specialized engineering team. You will mentor engineers, shape consulting solutions, and strengthen client relationships in a critical energy segment.

You will oversee advanced evaluations and contribute to differentiating capabilities, while traveling as needed to serve clients and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE registration highly valued.
• Experience in steam turbine generator engineering or asset integrity.
• Expertise in life assessment, fitness-for-service, fracture mechanics, creep, fatigue, thermal or stress analysis, or finite element analysis.
• Demonstrated success leading technical projects, developing teams, and guiding multidisciplinary engineering efforts.
• Strong client-facing consulting skills and ability to communicate complex technical issues with clarity and credibility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SI’s technical leader for steam turbine and generator engineering, asset life assessment, and integrity consulting.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers.
• Guide strategic consulting engagements to extend asset life and improve reliability.
• Provide technical direction for evaluations involving fracture mechanics, creep, fatigue, and finite element methods.
• Shape the quality and credibility of client deliverables, proposals, and reports.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate on proposals, scope development, and project planning.
• Represent SI with clients and in industry forums to strengthen visibility.
• Help shape future practice through planning and new capability development.
