Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. in Illinois seeks an experienced engineer to perform advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of turbine generator operations at the Clean Energy Center. The role requires strong knowledge of industry codes and procedures and coaching others to uphold Human Performance and THU practices.

You will lead analysis, reviews, and studies, ensure configuration management and compliance, and mentor staff while pursuing continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required or equivalent experience.
• Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license with 5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Associate's degree with 7 years of related experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma/GED with 9 years of related experience.
• Maintain access requirements and pass medical examinations as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, communicate, and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and using standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
