Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer in Turbine Aerodynamics to lead advancements in high- and low-pressure turbine design for aircraft gas turbine engines and industrial applications. The role reports to the Turbine Aerodynamics Manager and focuses on developing next-generation turbine components and associated technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with turbomachinery aerodynamics; 9+ years' experience.
• PhD in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with turbomachinery aerodynamics; 8+ years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead aerodynamic design and analysis of turbine components.
• Perform advanced aero-thermal CFD analyses.
• Provide technical guidance across cross-functional teams.
• Develop and validate analytical tools for aerodynamic design.
• Drive technology development to improve engine performance.
• Mentor and train early-career engineers.
