Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Staff Engineer Turbine Aerodynamics to lead the design of next-generation turbine components for aircraft engines and industrial applications. You will head aerodynamic developments, guide aero-thermal analyses, and influence cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Aerospace/Mechanical Eng with turbomachinery aerodynamics and 9+ years’ experience.
• PhD in Aerospace/Mechanical Eng with turbomachinery aerodynamics and 8+ years’ experience.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information; must meet U.S. Person requirements (citizen, LPR, asylee/refugee).

Responsibilities

• Lead aerodynamic design and analysis of high- and low-pressure turbine components.
• Perform advanced aero-thermal CFD analyses and tests.
• Guide cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
