Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an Aerodynamics Staff Engineer to lead the design of next-generation turbine components and technologies. You will perform aero-thermal CFD analyses and drive development of advanced aerodynamic solutions for engine performance and durability.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with aerodynamics focus and 4–6+ years (PhD) or 6+ years (Masters) of relevant experience, with strong communication and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD with aerodynamics emphasis and required years of experience per ad.
• Strong CFD knowledge and aerodynamic testing experience preferred.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead aerodynamic design and analysis of turbine components.
• Conduct advanced aero-thermal CFD analyses under supervision.
• Develop advanced aerodynamic technology to improve performance.
• Mentor early-career personnel and coach teams.
• Draw conclusions from test data to validate designs.
• Develop analytical tools to improve predictive capabilities.
