Job summary

Schnabel Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in the Washington, DC area to lead tunnel and underground design and rehabilitation projects within our program management group. This role focuses on delivering quality design, managing scope, schedule, and budget, and maintaining client relations.

You will mentor staff, coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to business development across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Structural Eng (ABET).
• Licensed Professional Engineer, ability to reciprocity for other states.
• 15+ years in engineering with PM background; tunnel/underground a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, management and execution of tunnel/underground design projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget; report to clients.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with multi-location teams.
• Prepare proposals with manhour estimates and client coordination.
• Support business development and industry involvement.
