Job summary

TALENIQUE INC is seeking an experienced Tuna Cutter for a full-time role in Woburn, MA. The position requires skilled handling of tuna during selection and production with emphasis on precision and waste reduction.

You will work in a cold processing room, operate knives safely, and support packaging, labeling, and storage in line with HACCP/SSOP guidelines. 3+ years of tuna cutting experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience cutting different species of tuna (300+ lbs).
• 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tuna processing areas by organizing tables, wrapping papers, and cleaning racks, knives, and labels.
• Position prepares work areas for production, fulfills daily customer orders and cleans/sanitizes areas after production.
• Selects and cuts fresh tuna from loins efficiently with minimal waste.
• Communicates with a tuna selector for quantity to cut and quality of the tuna.
• Wraps, packs, labels, and icing fresh tuna according to customer specs and HACCP requirements.
• Stores leftovers per GMPs and ensures proper storage.
• Cleans/sanitizes processing area and equipment according to HACCP and SSOPs after orders are completed.
• Disposes of waste product and assists in order fulfillment by packing products.
• Participates in receiving and counting products delivered by drivers and restocking areas as needed.
