Job summary

Haynes International in the United States is seeking a manufacturing Process Engineer to develop, design, and cost new tubular processing methods. You will provide manufacturing support to ensure process quality and efficiency, understand equipment capabilities, and gain tooling knowledge of facility mills.

Responsibilities include optimizing safety and environmental compliance, supporting Lean/Six Sigma and SPC, reading mechanical drawings, and collaborating across teams to improve uptime,

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology; currently enrolled pursuing BS (R).
• 3–5 years in metal processing; 2 years in metal tubular processing (P).
• Knowledge: Safety, Metallurgy, Metal processes, SPC, CAD, Lean Manufacturing.
• Skills: MS Office; Written & Verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and cost new tubular processes.
• Provide manufacturing support to ensure process quality and efficiency.
• Understand equipment capabilities and tooling for facility mills.
• Solve problems with orders and develop corrective actions.
• Support Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC controls.
• Develop standard routings and communicate productivity improvements.
• Identify and justify capital expenditures with ROI considerations.
• Travel as needed to establish and develop new products.
