Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an experienced engineer to design, evaluate, test, and operate complex systems for government and commercial clients. The role involves conducting site surveys, ensuring compliance with regulations, and documenting findings in detailed reports.

You will develop R&D plans, update technical documentation, and potentially lead technical teams. A BA/BS in a related field and the ability to travel up to half the time are required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of required course: TSCM Fundamentals.
• Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment up to 75 pounds.
• Experience conducting site surveys to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced engineering work on electrical, electromechanical, and computer components and systems.
• Inspects customer sites for regulatory compliance and documents results.
• Writes, reviews, and updates technical documentation.
• Develops research plans and adjusts methods as needed.
• Mentors team members and may lead technical efforts on projects.
