Job summary

Zallpy is seeking a senior frontend/backend engineer to join our API Studio team. You will develop and evolve features using TypeScript and React, contribute to a Web IDE built on VS Code, and work with Franca IDL and Franca++ to model APIs and automotive interfaces.

This is a fully remote role in the United States, operating in a modern monorepo with Yarn 2+. You will write tests with Jest/Vitest and Playwright, review code, and help shape architecture, performance, and tooling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Franca IDL and web-based development.
• Strong skills in TypeScript and JavaScript at senior level.
• Experience with React and complex web applications.
• Knowledge of monorepo architecture and Yarn 2+.
• Experience with automated testing (Jest, Vitest) and Playwright.
• Git and CI/CD practices, API integration, and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve features for the API Studio platform using TypeScript and React.
• Contribute to the Web IDE based on VS Code and related tooling.
• Work with Franca IDL/Franca++ to model and navigate APIs and interfaces.
• Develop and maintain packages, extensions, and visualization components.
• Operate in a monorepo with Yarn 2+ for builds and dependencies.
• Build features for API exploration, querying, and visualization.
• Contribute to modeling, languages, code generation, and developer tooling.
• Create automated tests with Jest or Vitest and Playwright.
• Collaborate on integration between components, backend services, and tools.
• Participate in technical decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
