ZOE is hiring a remote Full Stack Engineer with a front-end focus to help us build world-class digital experiences for zoe.com. You will spend most of your time in TypeScript, React and Next.js, while collaborating with backend services written in Kotlin or Python to ensure data is well-structured and available.

Join a distributed team of engineers across the UK and EU, contribute to our design system, run A/B tests, and ship maintainable code daily in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience with a front-end focus.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React and Next.js, plus state management and performance optimisation.
• Ability to work across frontend and backend boundaries and understand API usage.
• Collaborative; able to contribute to design reviews and maintainable code.
• Understanding of accessibility best practices and quality-driven delivery.

Responsibilities

• Building zoe.com: developing a fast, accessible and beautiful website that is consistently on-brand.
• Design partnership: turning high-fidelity designs into fluid, accessible components.
• Design system: growing our shared component library and web design system.
• Experimentation: launching A/B tests and interpreting results with analysts.
• Bridging the stack: collaborating on API design and backend changes for front-end features.
• Engineering excellence: writing clean, testable, maintainable code and shipping to production regularly.
• Growth: learning from senior engineers and growing into a technical owner of parts of the web platform.
