Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of trusts, estates, IRAs and other fiduciary accounts in accordance with governing documents, applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with Trust & Wealth Management leadership to enhance and streamline TRB Trust Division operations and contribute to strategic decision making.
• Serve as primary relationship manager for trust beneficiaries, grantors, attorneys, accountants, and other advisors.
• Support and collaborate with other trust officers in responding to client requests, preparing for meetings, and conducting research and analysis on accounts where the trust officer may not be the primary trust administrator.
• Exercise fiduciary discretion regarding distributions, investments, tax matters, and administrative decisions.
• Collaborate with external advisors, legal counsel, asset managers and other professionals as needed.
• Work with TRB Wealth Management advisors and associates to ensure thoughtful portfolio and asset management.
• Develop new business and build the TRB brand across regions.
• Stay updated on fiduciary landscape and be willing to continually learn and improve.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of trusts, estates, IRAs and other fiduciary accounts in accordance with governing documents, applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
• Play a key role collaborating with Trust & Wealth Management leadership to enhance and streamline TRB Trust Division operations and contribute to strategic decision making.

• Collaborate with external advisors, legal counsel, asset managers and other professionals as needed.
• Must have working knowledge of financial and trust accounting principles that would allow the Senior Trust Officer to work collaboratively with TRB Wealth Management advisors and associates and other internal professionals to ensure thoughtful portfolio and asset management.
• Expected to be comfortable with prospective clients and help develop new business and build the brand for TRB across all regions.
• Stay updated on current developments within the fiduciary landscape and be willing to continually learn and improve.

Qualifications, Education And Experience Requirements

• Four-Year College Degree with emphasis in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• 5+ years of Trust Administration experience
