Job summary

Blue Sky Trust in Reno, NV seeks an experienced Trust Officer to manage fiduciary relationships, exercise sound judgment within delegated authority, and deliver responsive service to clients and their advisors. The role requires disciplined execution, meticulous documentation, and coordination with committees, Client Operations, and external advisors. Reports to Mr.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years in trust administration or fiduciary services.
Ability to interpret governing instruments and document decisions.
Knowledge of BSA/AML, KYC, sanctions and recordkeeping relevant to trust admin.
Strong organizational and communication skills; manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Administer trust relationships and document fiduciary decisions per governing instruments and policy.
Review trust documents for powers, beneficiaries, distribution standards, risks; onboard accounts.
Analyze distributions, tax matters, and maintain accurate records and notices.
Serve as relationship owner; coordinate with beneficiaries, advisors, custodians, and operations.
Review and approve trust activity within delegated authority; ensure segregation of duties and proper approvals.
Conduct due diligence and escalate unusual activity or gaps in documentation.
