Position Summary

Blue Sky is seeking a highly capable, disciplined, and self-motivated Senior Associate to manage and take ownership of client administration, client operations, and strategic communications within a growing fiduciary services firm.

This role requires strong judgment, attention to the details, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a client-focused professional trustee environment. The successful candidate will be expected to exercise initiative, maintain high standards of follow-through, and bring a strong sense of personal accountability to client service, internal operations, and team execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day client administration and operations.
  • Review trust documents, beneficiary information, distribution standards, trustee powers, administrative requirements, and related client materials with strong fiduciary acumen.
  • Maintain accurate trust records, correspondence, approvals, account files, and supporting documentation.
  • Lead onboarding coordination for new client relationships, including document collection, account setup, internal tracking, and follow-through with advisors and service providers.
  • Manage operational workflows, including cash movement, investment changes, account maintenance, document tracking, reporting, and related approvals.
  • Prepare internal and external communications with professionalism and discretion.
  • Coordinate meetings, track action items, and ensure timely follow-through on client, advisor, and internal team requests.
  • Manage and improve CRM data, document management, dashboards, internal knowledge resources, and technology-enabled workflows.
  • Assist with audit, risk management, account reviews, and special projects.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, and high-accountability team culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field such as business, finance, accounting, legal, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in trust administration, fiduciary services, wealth management, trust operations, family office services, or a related professional services environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines, client matters, and operational priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Comfort working independently while collaborating with a small professional team.
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and client service orientation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a trust company role with trust administration and/or operations responsibilities.
  • Ultra-high-net-worth client service experience.
  • Firm understanding of fiduciary accounting and trust systems.
  • Familiarity with fiduciary tax reporting, custodial platforms, and bank operations.
  • Professional designation such as CTFA or other professional accreditation preferred.
