Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a Trust Officer III to develop, service, and administer fiduciary accounts with complex assets across a broad client base.

The role emphasizes careful administration of trusts, estates, and beneficial accounts under applicable laws and policies. The position requires significant experience in trust operations, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to cultivate relationships with Wealth Management and area professionals.

Qualifications

• J.D., CTFA, CFP, MBA, or related professional experience required.
• Minimum five years' experience in trust industry or related position preferred.
• At least three years' experience as a Trust Officer.
• Strong knowledge of trusts, estates, investments, and estate planning.
• Ability to analyze, interpret legal documents and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze agreements and legal documents for purpose and requirements.
• Communicate with clients and beneficiaries; document communications.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized files and trust accounting entries.
• Oversee trust administration and asset management for complex accounts.
• Develop new business in Trust, Wealth Management and Bank operations.
• Supervise and train Trust personnel; ensure regulatory compliance.
