Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) through its retail arm Community Bank, N.A. seeks a Trust Officer III to manage complex accounts with fiduciary duties.

You will develop new business while servicing discretionary and non-discretionary accounts under established policies and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include administering estates, communicating with clients and professionals, and coordinating with Wealth Management for growth.

Qualifications

• J.D., CTFA, CFP®, MBA, or related professional experience is required.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical abilities.

Responsabilités

• Analyze agreements and legal documents to determine purpose/intent, the Bank’s capacity, co-authorities, requirements, fee provisions, and tax reporting requirements.
• Communicate with clients by phone, letter, or email on account matters and document all communications.
• Maintain up-to-date, neat, organized, and well documented files.
• Maintain accurate trust accounting system details including synoptic coding and restricted assets.
• Perform documented annual administrative reviews of accounts per Trust policy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Wealth Management for cross-selling opportunities.
• Actively promote Trust, Wealth Management, and Bank services internally and externally.
