Job summary

Trial Lawyers United LLC is seeking an experienced plaintiff-side commercial trucking trial lawyer who can independently litigate cases from investigation through verdict and help design, build, and lead a disciplined, multistate trucking litigation practice.

You will litigate significant trucking cases and play a central role in building the firm's practice, with potential leadership responsibilities as the practice expands across markets.

Qualifications

• J.D. and an active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum five years of meaningful plaintiff-side commercial trucking litigation experience.
• Actual trial experience in trucking or catastrophic-injury/wrongful-death cases.
• Substantial deposition experience, including corporate-representative and expert depositions.
• Willingness to litigate in multiple jurisdictions (pro hac vice) with local counsel.

Responsibilities

• Litigate significant trucking cases from intake through trial.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy; manage written discovery and disputes.
• Take and defend depositions; work with experts on damages evidence.
• Help build the firm’s trucking practice, case-selection, and evidence-preservation procedures.
• Recruit, mentor, and set quality standards for trucking lawyers and staff as the practice grows.
