Job summary

Gallagher Asphalt Corporation is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to own daily trucking schedules across construction projects, asphalt plants, retail customers, and equipment moves. You will actively monitor real-time activity, communicate with drivers, third-party brokers, foremen, and plant personnel, and balance capacity with cost while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; dispatch or plant ticketing experience preferred.
• Experience in dispatching, logistics, or plant scale coordination is highly valued.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and communicate clearly with drivers, foremen, and leadership.
• Willingness to learn company systems and use data to identify waste and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily trucking schedules for construction projects, plants, retail customers, liquid hauling, and equipment moves.
• Confirm requests are accepted and fully covered before start of the next day’s work.
• Monitor trucking activity in real time and adjust as conditions change.
• Communicate continuously with drivers, brokers, foremen, project superintendents, plant personnel, and customer service.
• Balance company trucks with third-party brokers to meet needs while controlling costs.
• Maintain accurate records in XBE and other systems and monitor material deliveries to sites.
• Review data to identify waste and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Contribute to improving dispatch processes and technology.
