Job summary

Nooksack Indian Tribe’s Youth and Family Services seeks a Nooksack Child Support Case Manager II to oversee case work for families and ensure compliance with Tribal and federal regulations. You will prepare legal documents, coordinate with the Washington Division of Child Support, attend hearings, and maintain detailed case records while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years directly related experience.
• Knowledge of Tribal Codes and state/federal regulations.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with case management databases.
• Notary Public and DNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for Nooksack families with child support issues in accordance with Tribal Codes and policies.
• Prepare and file all legal documentation to establish, modify and enforce child support orders.
• Prepare and file legal documentation to establish paternity.
• Coordinate with Washington Division of Child Support (DCS) and tribal liaisons.
• Attend court hearings as needed.
• Maintain accurate case activity records in the Child Support Database.
• Provide community outreach and education.
