Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to lead complex, high-risk litigation with extensive trial experience. You will manage all stages from filing to verdict, supervise evidence collection, and draft dispositive motions while mentoring junior staff.

The role offers a fully remote setup and substantial opportunities to shape strategy. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of insurance defense trial experience, strong advocacy, and a proven ability to drive cases to resolution in a high-volume

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar in good standing.
• 5–7 years of insurance defense litigation with a trial record.
• Demonstrated first-chair jury trial experience in auto, liability, and premises matters.
• Experience handling high-exposure cases through verdict with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills and independent case strategy drive.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and strategic direction of complex, high-exposure lawsuits and defend aggressively.
• Independently manage all phases of litigation from inception through verdict.
• Direct evidence collection, expert retention, and preparation of dispositive motions.
• Serve as first-chair trial counsel in various proceedings including trials and arbitrations.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior claims leadership on complex matters.
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff on litigation strategy and best practices.
• Lead negotiation and strategy on significant exposure cases.
