Job summary

Allstate seeks an attorney to represent insured individuals and Allstate in bodily injury, property damage, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases. The role includes preparing for hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.

The candidate will advise business clients on day-to-day legal matters, monitor new laws, and collaborate with the Law and Regulation department while working remotely and traveling across New Jersey.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar.
3+ years of proven litigation experience or strong litigation-type skills.
First or second chair jury trial experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LexisNexis, and internet research.
Willingness to travel throughout New Jersey.
Comfortable working in a remote environment.
Background investigation required.

Responsibilities

Represent insured individuals and Allstate in bodily injury, property damage, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases.
Prepare for and conduct hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
Prepare and present pre- and post-trial motions.
Advise business clients on day-to-day legal matters.
Monitor and evaluate new laws, regulations, and case law.
Collaborate with Law and Regulation department areas.
Provide proactive legal advice to business units regarding new laws.
Monitor legal representation.
