Job summary

Zayed Law in Chicago is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to manage high-value personal injury cases, working closely with paralegals to maximize client compensation.

You will draft and file documents, coordinate depositions, participate in pre-trial conferences and trials, and contribute to strategy with AJZ in a fast-paced office. Ideal candidates hold a JD, Illinois license, and 3+ years of trial experience, including PI or plaintiff work, with strong organization.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school (state bar eligibility).
• Active Illinois license to practice law; other states preferred but not required.
• 3 years minimum trial experience; 1 year in personal injury or plaintiff litigation.

Responsibilities

• Execute directives and legal tasks for high-priority cases with case managers and paralegals.
• Draft, file and follow up on legal documents; ensure compliance with court procedures and deadlines.
• Attend required depositions and be prepared for pre-trial conferences and trials.
• Consult with leadership on negotiation and trial strategy to maximize client compensation.
• Uphold confidentiality, integrity, and strong internal communication within the office.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
