TrueSeek is seeking a seasoned trial partner to lead jury and non-jury trials in state and federal court, handling high-stakes business disputes and complex commercial matters.
You will build and lead trial teams, directing discovery, depositions, experts, and motion practice to position cases for success. The role emphasizes client advisory work on risk and strategy, with opportunities to grow your practice through firm-backed business development in a collaborative Florida platform.
Some cases settle. The ones that don't need a lawyer who is genuinely at home in front of a jury. This role is for a trial partner who has stood up in state and federal court, knows how to take a complex business dispute from complaint to verdict, and wants a platform built to help that practice grow.
What You'll Own
You'll join a collaborative Florida business law firm with offices across the state and a litigation practice that works closely with colleagues in real estate, corporate, and restructuring. That mix creates real cross-referral opportunities, and a dedicated marketing and business development team is there to help you take advantage of them.
What You Bring
You're a trial lawyer first. You've tried cases to verdict in state and federal court, and your practice touches at least a few of the areas above. You bring a portable book of business with clients who will follow you and room to keep growing it. Size matters less than fit and trajectory. Miami-based attorneys, or those interested in working from Miami, are preferred.
Florida Bar admission is preferred, but if you're licensed elsewhere and ready to make the move, the firm will fully support you through preparing for and passing the Florida Bar exam. Spanish is a plus.
Why This Role
This is an active search for a partner who wants a bigger platform for the work they already love. You'll bring your trial practice to a firm with a broad business client base, real cross-selling potential, and leadership that wants its partners to build. If you live for the courtroom and you're ready for your next chapter, let's talk.
