The role offers a base salary of $150,000-$200,000 plus annual bonus and settlement participation, with a contract-to-hire path and strong support resources to manage a significant caseload. Immediate hiring focus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license required.
• 10+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience taking and defending physician expert witness depositions.
• Medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, or wrongful death experience highly preferred.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases from inception through trial.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy.
• Take and defend physician and expert witness depositions.
• Draft and argue motions, hearings, and dispositive matters.
• Prepare cases for mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial.
• Serve as lead trial counsel on significant cases.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and legal support teams.
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff as needed.
