Job summary

City of Anaheim is seeking a Senior Program Specialist for the TreePower Program in the Community Services Department. This part-time, year-round role (~30 hours/week) requires some evenings and Saturdays and values bilingual English/Spanish speakers.

The ideal candidate will have arboriculture, landscape design, and horticulture knowledge, strong customer service, independence, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of arboriculture, landscape design, and horticulture.
• Experience providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan tree deliveries, deliver trees, order trees, and monitor tree inventory.
• Meet residents/owners at properties to audit and help select trees; distribute follow-up information.
• Provide office and clerical support; answer inquiries and log customer requests.
