Job summary

The City of Anaheim is seeking a motivated and collaborative Part Time Landscape Inspector (Part-time Maintenance Coordinator) to plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor maintenance and trimming programs including trees, irrigation, and landscape upkeep.

Qualified candidates will have journey-level experience in tree and landscape maintenance with knowledge of contract specifications; weekend availability is required for a ~30 hour per week schedule.

Qualifications

• Journey-level experience in tree and landscape maintenance.
• Ability to interpret contract specifications and lead staff.
• California Driver's License (Class C) required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance work with supervisor/lead staff.
• Inspect city infrastructure and right-of-way for maintenance needs.
• Document deficiencies and manage punch lists or memos.
• Train employees and contractors on methods, tools, and safety.
• Communicate with staff and contractors; ensure contract conformance.
• Prepare cost estimates and assist in budget development for programs.
• Coordinate service requests and respond to citizen inquiries.
