You will lead cross-functional initiatives touching treasury engineering, operations, compliance, banking, and risk, helping define architecture and product direction while mentoring both junior and senior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building and operating backend systems to customer facing experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across peers and cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record as technical lead on complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Product-minded engineer who considers developer experience and customer outcomes.
• Domain knowledge of being a registered investment advisor and broker-dealer for equities, fixed income, and mutual funds.
• Able to mentor both junior and senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects involving Treasury engineering, operations, compliance, banking, and risk teams.
• Define the technical architecture and experience of the Treasury product.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations to ship thoughtful features for customers and internal users.
• Own and actively take responsibility for the product and Mercury's future direction.
• Join a team of experienced and junior product engineers managing billions of dollars of customer assets.
