Job summary

Vaco’s client seeks a seasoned VP of Treasury Operations to steer treasury, cash management, and related financial activities across a complex multi-entity structure in Arizona. The role oversees numerous bank accounts, banking relationships, and payment controls, ensuring governance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of treasury experience with multi‑bank, multi‑entity environment.
• Experience managing large bank account structures across institutions.
• Expertise in cash management, payments controls, and treasury risk management.
• Experience implementing/maintaining a Treasury Management System (Kyriba preferred).
• Knowledge of real estate loan servicing and fund capital calls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead treasury operations across multiple entities, overseeing cash management, banking relationships, payment processing, and financial controls.
• Manage a high volume of bank accounts across multiple institutions, including account administration and signers.
• Serve as primary contact for banking partners, managing relationships and service agreements.
• Oversee daily cash activity, balances, scheduling, and financial reporting.
• Establish internal controls for wire transfers, ACH payments, and approval workflows.
• Coordinate loan servicing activities including payments, draws, escrows, and reserves.
• Support capital calls, distributions, and financing activities with Accounting/Finance teams.
• Lead implementation, maintenance, and optimization of treasury systems and integrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and cost savings.
