Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a senior Treasury Management sales leader to drive strategy for a Middle Market portfolio. You will partner with Relationship Managers, lead discovery conversations, design holistic TM solutions, and guide complex deals from planning through implementation.

This role requires deep treasury knowledge, strategic vision, and strong client relationships across a broad audience. Expect a hybrid work arrangement with nationwide travel to support clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, marketing, technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• CTP/CCM or similar treasury/payments certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Treasury Management sales strategy for a Middle Market portfolio with growth goals.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to identify opportunities and drive leads.
• Conduct discovery conversations with client leadership and stakeholders.
• Evaluate payment flows, liquidity, and fraud controls to identify opportunities.
• Design holistic Treasury Management solutions across multiple modules.
• Lead presentations, proposals, and negotiations with clients.
• Develop engagement plans for strategic Middle Market clients and prospects.
• Conduct regular client reviews to gather feedback and plan next steps.
• Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
• Coordinate with Product, Implementation, Operations, Risk, and Legal teams.
• Review RFPs, lead pricing and formal presentations with bankers.
• Maintain knowledge of Treasury Management products and procedures.
• Advise on product gaps and enhancements based on client feedback.
• Provide Treasury Management training to bankers and partners.
• Build external networks to support lead generation and visibility.
• Represent Treasury Management at client events and travel as needed.
• Assist with annual client reviews and special projects.
