Job summary

Vanguard seeks a professional to oversee fund treasury cash management activities and ensure accurate reporting to clients and banks. The role involves daily reconciliations, risk identification, and maintaining knowledge of shareholder activities and related workflows.

A hybrid work model is supported to balance in-person collaboration with flexibility. Two years of related experience and an undergraduate degree or equivalent are required, with accounting/finance degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains oversight and validation of fund treasury cash management activity. Serves as point of escalation for reporting of data and calculations to internal and external clients, and banks in a timely manner. Ensures all team tasks meet pre-established processes and service agreements.
• Completes daily reconciliation of discrepancies and quality audits in accordance with established procedures.
• Identifies and analyzes Shareholder Activity process risks and develops proposals to mitigate exposure to potential contingency situations and risks.
• Develops and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of shareholder activity, transfer agent, and billing related workflows, tasks and systems. Determines when issues should be elevated to management and communicates related issues or initiatives with team members and clients.
• Establishes partnerships with internal and external clients, business partners, transfer agents, and custody banks to anticipate and meet the needs of the client.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
