Job summary

Mastercard Inc. is seeking a Manager for Treasury Controllership with oversight of digital assets and related accounting. The role focuses on advisory support for Corporate Treasury, evaluating new operating models, and ensuring accurate financial reporting under U.S.

GAAP and SEC guidance. You will collaborate across Treasury, Finance, and external auditors, drive control improvements, and support monthly and ad hoc reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or CA designation required.
• Public accounting or comparable experience in technical accounting/controllership/treasury accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting advisory support for Corporate Treasury and treasury-enabled initiatives (Blockchain, Digital Payments, crypto assets, fiat-backed stablecoins).
• Evaluate accounting implications of new operating models, including custodial/non-custodial arrangements and fair value measurements.
• Prepare technical accounting memos documenting U.S. GAAP, SEC guidance, and Mastercard policies.
