Job summary

MoonPay is seeking a Deputy Treasurer to lead treasury strategy as the business scales. You will partner with the Treasurer to deliver liquidity, capital planning, and risk management across regulatory expansions and treasury operations.

This role requires strong financial judgment in a fast-moving environment and collaboration with Finance and other functions to ensure liquidity, capital structure, controls, and treasury capabilities support MoonPay's strategic growth and market expansion.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of treasury, financial services, fintech, payments, or similarly regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience with digital asset treasury operations, including stablecoins and custody considerations.
• Expertise in liquidity/capital management, forecasting, and risk analysis for high-impact decisions.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulation across banking, payments, money transmission, and digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute MoonPay's treasury strategy with liquidity, capital, risk plans.
• Lead liquidity and capital management, forecast requirements, optimize deployment of capital.
• Assess treasury implications for regulatory and geographic expansion (NYDFS, FFIEC, BitLicense).
• Oversee treasury analysis, modeling, and reporting for senior stakeholders.
