Job summary

Ventos Power Plus, LLC is looking for experienced Senior Traveling Wind Turbine Technicians to provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support across the United States. Successful candidates will have hands-on experience with Siemens Gamesa turbines and must be comfortable diagnosing complex issues in electrical, mechanical, and control systems while working independently or in lead roles.

The position requires full-time, year-round work with extensive travel across the U.S., offering competitive pay, health insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proven experience troubleshooting Siemens Gamesa wind turbines.
• Strong background in electrical and control system diagnostics.
• Solid mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel 100% nationwide for extended rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and fault isolation on Siemens Gamesa wind turbine platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical systems, controls, hydraulics, mechanical assemblies, and safety systems.
• Execute corrective maintenance and component-level repairs in accordance with OEM procedures.
• Support commissioning, return-to-service, and major maintenance activities as needed.
• Interpret fault codes and technical documentation to identify root causes.
