Job summary

Kiewit Energy U.S. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Superintendent to lead field supervision on major projects across the Oil, Gas and Chemical sectors.

You will oversee Foremen and craft workers, control scheduling, costs, and conformance with drawings and specs, and maintain strong client relationships on site. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in construction, proven leadership, safety focus, and solid contract administration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience with supervisory leadership roles.
• Strong leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
• Excellent organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and grow junior Superintendents.
• Review and approve foremen, journeymen, and labor rates.
• Manage subcontractor and field management communications.
• Maintain good client relations on site.
• Lead problem-solving meetings with the client.
• Oversee monthly job cost updates and cash flow projections.
• Review and approve change orders.
• Plan for project completion and turnover.
• Maintain daily project diaries and records.
• Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Recommend organizational and process improvements.
• Review and approve promotions up to General Foremen.
