Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead installation quality on customer projects nationwide. You will oversee equipment installation, safety audits, and on-site reporting to project management, while coordinating training for contract labor.

Willingness to travel up to 100% to customer sites is required. A minimum of ten years in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred), and a High School diploma or equivalent are essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS/AS/RS or conveyors is helpful.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Maintain quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Oversee on-site safety, including safety audits.
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to ensure it meets specifications and installed to Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to the project manager and/or customer.
• Assist with training of contract labor and subcontractors in installation of Dematic equipment.
• Write concise trip reports within Dematic procedures timelines.
• Identify problems and propose practical steps to address them.
