Job summary

Munters Corporation is seeking a Data Center Service Technician to travel to customer sites for startup, commissioning and fault diagnosis of Data Center equipment. The role requires independent work and strong troubleshooting abilities across HVAC and electrical systems.

Expect up to 90% travel across the USA, with on-site coordination of other trades. Requires 5+ years in mechanical/HVAC, refrigeration expertise, PLCs knowledge, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical and HVAC field.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and data recording.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, pressure testing, evacuating, and charging.
• Familiarity with PLCs and controls programming/diagnostics.
• Must be able to travel up to 90% across USA by plane and car.
• Must understand PPE and safety procedures (arc flash, lockout/tagout).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, commissioning, warranty and billable service on Data Center equipment.
• Maintain and protect equipment and property.
• Respond promptly to service requests from customers or management.
• Provide customer training on equipment and document field service reports.
• Coordinate with Sales, PM, Service Manager and Technical Support on site.
